The SuperLooper Loopback Jack & Plug is a simple cable tester on a keychain.

Convenient
Check cables for broken or shorted wires. Check wall jack to network switch connections. Not much bigger than an Ethernet connector. Conveniently attaches to key chain, backpack, or tool bag.

Easy to Use
Use the SuperLooper Loopback Jack & Plug and a switch/hub to check RX/TX pairs of cables. LED On is good. LED Off indicates broken or shorted wires. Or plug it into a wall jack, and the LED of the associated switch port will light. Using a Smartronix Ethernet Analyzer and Loopback Jack & Plug you can perform more complete testing of cables and devices.

The blade which is included has both a punch only and a punch and cut side.   If you have need to punch without trimming any extra wiring, then use the punch only side.   If you want to punch and trim at the same time, then use the side that has "cut" stamped into it.
